Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
