۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
