3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
