۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
