۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
