The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
