Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
