Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
