The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
