The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
