Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
