The people of Lut belied the sent ones. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 so fear God and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 Then We delivered him and all his family 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 174 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 175
