The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 Said they: "Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!" 167 (Lot) said: "I am disgusted with your actions," 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 So We delivered him and his family,- all 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
