Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 2 Surely in the heavens and earth there are signs for the believers; 3 and in your own creation; and in the animals which He spreads out over the earth too there are Signs for those endowed with sure faith; 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are the revelations of God which We recite to you for a genuine purpose. In what statements other than God's and His revelations will they then believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar! 7 He hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet persists in his arrogance as if he had never heard them. Forewarn him of a painful punishment. 8 When he learns about some of Our revelations, he mocks them. Such people will suffer a humiliating torment. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
