The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 And weigh with a balance straight. 182 and do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not make mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
