The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 "And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
