The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 180 ۞ "Maintain just measure in your business and do not cause loss to others. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
