The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear? 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!" 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
