Now, behold, this [divine writ] has indeed been bestowed from on high by the Sustainer of all the worlds: 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 Therefore observe, that if We give them some comforts for some years, 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Should I tell you to whom the satans come? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty God's Truth.
