This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made the habit of denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned. 227
