And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
