This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And this Qur’an was not brought down by the devils. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
