And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
