Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
