The Ant (Al-Naml)
93 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Poets (Alshu'araa') before Stories (Al-Qasas)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. These are revelations of the Qur'an and a Scripture that maketh plain; 1 A guidance and good news for the believers, 2 who pray regularly and pay obligatory alms and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 3 Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so they wander about blindly. 4 It is they for whom a grievous chastisement lies in store; it is they who shall be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 Lo! as for thee (Muhammad), thou verily receivest the Qur'an from the presence of One Wise, Aware. 6 When Musa said to his family: Surely I see fire; I will bring to you from it some news, or I will bring to you therefrom a burning firebrand so that you may warm yourselves. 7 Then when he came unto it, he was cried unto: Thus; Blest is whosoever is in the fire and whosoever is around it; and hallowed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 8 "O Moses! verily, I am Allah, the exalted in might, the wise!.... 9 Cast down your staff' And when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned about retreating, and did not turn back. 'Moses, do not fear, indeed the Messengers do not fear (when they are) with Me, 10 “Except the one* who does injustice and then after evil changes it for virtue then indeed I am Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Other than the Prophets.) 11 Put your hand inside your collar and it will come out luminous without evil? among the nine signs to Pharaoh and his nation, indeed they were an impious nation' 12 But when Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came to them, clear to see, they said: "This is a manifest magic." 13 And they denied them whereas in their hearts they were certain of them due to injustice and pride; therefore see what sort of fate befell the mischievous! 14

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
