And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
