The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
