The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
