And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
