Is he whom We have promised a fair promise which he will find (true) like him whom We suffer to enjoy awhile the comfort of the life of the world, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be of those arraigned? 61 That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say "Where are my 'partners'?- whom ye imagined (to be such)?" 62 Those against whom the Word is realized they shall say, 'Our Lord, those whom we perverted, we perverted them even as we ourselves erred. We declare our innocence unto Thee; it was not us that they were serving.' 63 They will be told to call their idols. They will call them but will receive no answer. They will see the torment approaching and wish that they had sought guidance. 64 That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?" 65 Then all news will be blacked out for them, and they will not even ask one another. 66 But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation. 67 And your Lord creates whatsoever He wills and chooses, no choice have they (in any matter). Glorified be Allah, and exalted above all that they associate as partners (with Him). 68 And thy Lord knoweth that which their breasts conceal and that which they make known. 69 And He is God; there is no god but He. His is the praise in the former as in the latter; His too is the Judgment, and unto Him you shall be returned. 70 Proclaim, “What is your opinion – if Allah makes it night continuously for you till the Day of Resurrection then, other than Allah, who is the God who could bring you light? So do you not heed?” 71 Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see?" 72 In His Mercy He has appointed for you the night and the day, so that you can rest in it, and seek His bounty, in order that you will be thankful' 73 Upon a day He will call them and ask: "Where are they you imagined were My compeers?" 74 And We shall take out from every nation a witness and We shall say: Bring your proof. Then they will know that Allah hath the Truth, and all that they invented will have failed them. 75
