۞ Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful. 54 And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away. 55 But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within Allah's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but ye - ye were not aware!" 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers." 58 As such Allah seals the hearts of those who do not know. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
