۞ It is Allah Who created you weak, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength gave you weakness and old age; He creates whatever He wills; and only He is the All Knowing, the Able. 54 The day Resurrection is set the sinners will swear: "We did not tarry more than an hour (and cannot be guilty)." That is how they have always been deceived. 55 But those who [in their lifetime] were endowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed, you have been tardy in [accepting as true] what God has revealed, [and you have waited] until the Day of Resurrection: this, then, is the Day of Resurrection: but you - you were determined not to know it! 56 So on that day the unjust will not benefit from their excuses, nor will anyone ask them for compensation. 57 Indeed, We have struck for the people in this Koran every manner of similitude; and if thou bringest them a sign, those who are unbelievers will certainly say, 'You do nothing but follow falsehood.' 58 Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not. 59 So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith]. 60
