In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the verses of the Wise Book, 2 A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- 3 Those who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate and of the Hereafter are convinced. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these! they are the blissful ones. 5 (In an attempt to show that God's revelations are only ancient legends) some people pay for meaningless tales to draw others attention away from the Quran without knowledge and treat as a matter of fun. They will suffer a humiliating torment. 6 When Our verses are recited to such a person, he arrogantly turns away, as though he had not heard them, or as though there was a deafness in his ears. So announce to him the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 7 The righteously striving believers will enter Paradise 8 In which they will abide; it is a true promise of Allah; and only He is the Almighty, the Wise. 9 He created the skies without a support, as you can see, and placed stabilisers in the earth that you may dwell at ease as it revolves; and dispersed on it all varieties of creatures, and He sent down water from the skies and grew all kinds of splendid things upon it. 10 This is God's creation; now show me what those have created that are apart from Him! Nay, but the evildoers are in manifest error. 11

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
