Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

We revealed the Quran on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the grand night 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
