We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel. 23 And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs. 24 Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 Was it not a lesson for them, (the unbelievers), that We destroyed the many generations living before them among whose ruined dwellings they are now walking. In this there is many evidence (of the truth). Will they not then listen? 26 Are they not aware that it is We who drive the rain onto dry land devoid of herbage, and thereby bring forth herbage of which their cattle and they themselves do eat? Can they not, then, see [the truth of resurrection]? 27 And they say: When will this judgment take place, If you are truthful? 28 Say: On the day of judgment the faith of those who (now) disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited. 29 So turn away from them and wait. They too are waiting. 30
