O Prophet! say unto thy wives and thy daughters and women of the believers that they should let down upon them their wrapping-garments. That would be more likely to distinguish them so that they will not be affronted. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ THUS IT IS: if the hypocrites, and they in whose hearts is disease, and they who, by spreading false rumours, would cause disturbances in the City [of the Prophet] desist not [from their hostile doings]; We shall indeed give thee mastery over them, [O Muhammad] - and then they will not remain thy neighbours in this [city] for more than a little while: 60 Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 Abiders therein they shall be forever, and they shall find neither a protecting friend nor a helper. 65 On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they shall say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 “Our Lord! Give them double the punishment of the fire and send upon them a mighty curse!” 68
