۞ Say: 'I give you only one admonition, that you stand before Allah either two by two, or one by one and reflect. There is no madness in your companion. He (Prophet Muhammad) is only a warner to you, before a terrible punishment' 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say: Surely my Lord utters the truth, the great Knower of the unseen. 48 Say: 'Truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and shall return no more.' 49 Say: "If (even) I go astray, I shall stray only to my own loss. But if I remain guided, it is because of the Inspiration of my Lord to me. Truly, He is AllHearer, Ever Near (to all things)." 50 Ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand, 51 And they will say, “We accept faith in it”; and how can they attain it from so far away? (After they have crossed the limit of life allotted to them.) 52 They had rejected it before, while they indulged in conjectures from far away. 53 And a barrier is set between them and what they desire*, as was done for their earlier groups; indeed they are in a doubt that deceives.
