۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 And this is not hard to Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 Equal are not the blind and those who can see, 19 the shadows and the light, 20 nor the [cooling] shade and the scorching heat: 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You are but a warner, 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 And if they belie thee, then surely those before them have also belied. Their apostles came unto them with evidences and scriptures and a Book luminous. 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
