No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
