Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon the straight path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
