Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
