Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
