Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a straight path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
