Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On a Straight Way. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
