(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Harun, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright." 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
