Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
