Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
