Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
