Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a straight path, 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
