The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 So today no soul shall be wronged anything, and you shall not be recompensed, except according to what you have been doing. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. 57 "Peace!" shall be the greeting from the Merciful Lord. 58 (And He will say): 'Distance yourselves, O sinners, this Day. 59 ۞ Did I not commit you, O children of Adam, not to worship Satan who is your acknowledged foe, 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 And yet assuredly he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Wherefore reflect ye not? 62 “This is hell, which you were promised.” 63 roast well in it today, for that you were unbelievers!' 64 On that Day We shall set a seal on their mouths but their hands will speak unto Us, and their feet will bear witness to whatever they have earned [in life]. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return. 67
